Lambermont 382 (Schaerbeek)

The non-profit organisation P.A.S.S.A.J.E. continued upgrading the garden and terrace of our property at 382 Boulevard Lambermont, Schaerbeek.

Stéphane Chapelle :

"Until recently, the 18 children staying at our reception centre had to pass through the kitchen to reach the garden, navigating hot cooking equipment and boiling deep fryers along the way.

After this first hazardous passage, they were greeted by the smell of the waste bins.

Needless to say, this was neither safe nor appropriate. Unfortunately, we had no alternative. Although there was a lovely terrace, it was barely accessible: the door could only be opened with tools, and there was no way to reach our beautiful garden and all the activities it offers.

Once again, Inclusio and its Social Fund stood by our side. Thanks to their financial support, we were able to install a staircase connecting the terrace to the garden.

As if that weren't enough good news, the company that installed the staircase was also moved by our project and the children we support. They offered us an exceptionally competitive price and even carried out the installation free of charge.

Thanks to this generosity, we were also able to replace the terrace door. Since this spring, the children have been able to access the garden safely and enjoy the fresh air with ease.
