Artist Whitney Orville was chosen to create a collective mosaic artwork in the entrance hall of our building located at Rue du Pavillon 9 in Schaerbeek.
The aim was to collectively embellish the entrance hall by incorporating the aesthetic and energetic desires/needs of each of the people who frequent it.
Residents were invited to participate in the project during workshops.
The artist guided and introduced residents to the art of mosaic, from the preliminary design, gathering materials and cutting techniques to collage.
