Start of the construction site project Pavillon 1-3 in Schaerbeek

Inclusio has started the works on the “Pavilion 1-3” project in Schaerbeek.

The project involves converting a former office building into 33 housing units, which will be rented for a period of 27 years to the Social Rental Agency of Schaerbeek ASIS.

Inclusio purchased the office building located at 1–3 Paviljoenstraat in Schaerbeek at the end of 2020. The building has a surface area of 4,565 m² and was rented to several non-profit organisations active in education, support for people with disabilities, psychological assistance, and healthcare. Unfortunately, several tenants faced financial difficulties, and it became challenging to find new tenants, as many office spaces in Brussels remain vacant (due to the increased adoption of teleworking).

At the same time, there is a significant shortage of affordable rental housing in Brussels. For this reason, Inclusio decided to convert the building into 33 housing units.
